Refund and cancellation

Scope

This policy applies to paid consulting engagements with System Branchcore Co., Ltd., including internal controls assessments, procedure reviews, policy drafting support, and control owner briefings. The site does not sell physical goods or software licences.

Deposits

Engagements typically require a deposit stated in the engagement letter (commonly 30% of the quoted fee) to reserve partner time and on-site days. Deposits are credited against the final invoice.

Cancellation by the client

• More than 14 days before the scheduled start: deposit refunded minus a documented administration fee of up to NT$8,000.
• 7–14 days before start: 50% of the deposit may be retained for reserved calendar time.
• Fewer than 7 days before start, or after fieldwork has begun: deposit is non-refundable; work completed is invoiced on a time-and-materials basis at the rates in the letter.

Rescheduling

One reschedule with at least 7 days’ notice is usually accepted without penalty, subject to partner availability. Further moves may incur a reschedule fee disclosed in writing before confirmation.

No-shows

If key client attendees miss agreed interview or workshop slots without 24 hours’ notice, that day may be billed as delivered and a replacement slot quoted separately.

Work already started

Once document review, interviews, or sample testing has started, fees for completed stages are due. Partial refunds apply only to unused future stages expressly listed as separable in the engagement letter.

Purchased materials

Third-party materials or room hire bought specifically for your engagement with prior approval are non-refundable once ordered.

Refund process and timing

Email hello@system-branchcore.click with your engagement reference and reason. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 business days. Bank transfer refunds may require additional verification days.

Exceptions

If System Branchcore cancels an engagement for reasons within our control, you receive a full refund of amounts paid for undelivered work, or a mutually agreed new date at no reschedule fee.
